LF and GEV begin cooperating under a new common shareholder
Offering an enlarged product range and the highest stock availability for catering equipment spares from a wide selection of brands.
The two independent suppliers of catering spare parts, LF and GEV, now operate under the same holding company, with the global private equity firm, The Riverside Company (“Riverside”), as the main shareholder. This has been made possible by the purchase of LF by Riverside, which already owns the GEV Group including their latest UK acquisition Commercial Catering Spares Ltd.

Hotelympia 2018 overall was a great success for CCS, it allowed us to catch up with customers, meet potential new customers and to build on our already strong industry links. CCS Acquired by GEV Group
Commercial Catering Spares Ltd are pleased to announce that we have been acquired by GEV GROUP, consequently providing the largest stock-holding availability for next day delivery anywhere within the UK.
By continuing to supply the OEM parts through CCS, the acquisition supports GEV's growth strategy with an emphasis on OEM parts specifically in the UK - and, in addition, for all international markets.
The huge range of parts held by GEV as well as further investments in stock, warehousing operations and IT systems will position CCS in the market with a comprehensive spare parts solution required by existing and new UK customers, irrespective of their size.
Both the GEV UK office and CCS will be managed by Jonathan Booth, current Managing Director of CCS, and will continue to be run from their Heywood site.
